DECO announced the arrival of Stu and Sammy’s- a delicatessen-style soup and sandwiches stall. The new tenant will operate in the stall formerly occupied by The Verandah, which closed on Friday. Stu and Sammy’s will be up and running for Downtown Wilmington’s lunch crowd on Wednesday, January 22. Makers Alley Chef James Sparks is the mastermind behind the hearty menu, which will feature modern interpretation of classics like the French Dip and Cubano alongside crowd-pleasing soups. Stu and Sammy’s joins a variety of cuisines offered at DECO, which includes James Beard nominated pizza from Pizzeria Bardea, Connie’s fried chicken and waffles, Vietnamese pho and subs from Phubs, Al Chu’s sushi rolls, acai bowls and fresh pressed juice and salads from Stripp’d, and pastries from Spark’d. The pop-up stall is still shared by The Burger Joint and Federale Tacos.
